三识

(三識, 三识)

The three states of mind or consciousness: [lang id =1028]真識 the original unsullied consciousness or Mind, the (sa) tathāgatagarbha, the eighth or (sa) ālaya [lang id =1028]阿賴耶識 ; [lang id =1028]現識 mind or consciousness diversified in contact with or producing phenomena, good and evil; [lang id =1028]分別識 consciousness discriminating and evolving the objects of the five senses. Also [lang id =1028]意識 (sa) manas, [lang id =1028]心識 (sa) ālaya, and [lang id =1028]無垢識 (sa) amala, v. [lang id =1028]識.
